Workshops & Events

In an attractive and entertaining way, Polish and foreign history and culture will be presented to you through the wide range of workshops prepared especially for you.

Criminal investigation – XIXth century mystery unsolved- interactive game, following the places in the old part of Lodz
National dances – participants of the conference will have the ability to present their national dances. The performances are 10-20 minutes length, with additional 2-3 minutes for questions concerning the composer/writer, style and performance demands.
Photographs exhibition – participants who want to present some pictures of their country (landscapes, monuments, places worth seeing etc.) may bring and give printed materials to the organizers on the first day of the conference in the morning. The number and size of the photographs must be however indicated in the application form. Push-pins for securing presentation material to the bulletin boards will be available on-site. The author(s) should be available in a definite period of time to field questions and take part in discussion.
Sporting competitions – participants can take part in student international games of: basketball, baseball, tennis (also table) in the Recreation and Sport Centre in our Academy. We are open to your suggestions about organizing your national sporting competition in our Centre (if you have any ideas, please present it briefly in the application form so that we could make a decision considering the conditions of our Centre).
(TO ENTER THE GYM ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE WHITE-SOLED SPORT SHOES)

Students who would like to participate in the workshops are kindly asked to inform organizers at least three weeks in advance by marking the proper workshop-/s in the application form.

An international table of sweets is also planned to be organized. It would be great if you could bring with you your favourite national sweets.
