Deadline for submitting abstracts, extended abstracts or ready papers is 15th April 2011. Please send your abstract in max. 300 words edited in MS Word to intercom2011@wssm.edu.pl. The academic committee will notify you whether your proposal has been accepted within 21 days after receiving the abstract, at latest on April 23rd.

Submitted abstracts should include the title, names of the authors, names of the institutions they are employed by. The main topics of the paper should be outlined.

Duplication of information presented in a form of tables and figures should be avoided.

The paper should be edited as Microsoft Word 97-2007 document (.doc or .docx) or rich text format (.rtf), with the following settings (all measures in centimeters):

Page setup: Page size A4, orientation portrait; Margins: mirror margins, top 3cm, bottom 2cm, inside 2.5cm, outside 2cm, gutter 0.5cm; Layout: header 1.7 cm (different odd and even), footer 0cm, section start continuous, page alignment top.

The required formats of the drawings (plots, schemes) must be vector files such as XLS, OPJ, CDR (Excel, Origin, CorelDraw) which may also be exported as EPS, EMF or WMF files. Drawings submitted in BMP, TIFF or JPG formats (bitmaps, raster graphics), even if exported as EPS, EMF or WMF files, will not be accepted. Bitmaps are acceptable only in the case of photographs (laboratory equipment, surfaces of materials, etc.). The photographs (only in grayscale) should have the resolution not lower than 300 dpi (estimated for the size in which they are expected to be reproduced).
